Caroline Bellamy

Hi! I’m Caroline. I am a freelance journalist based out of Toronto. I am an experienced writer, editor and fact-checker.

I currently serve as the Assistant Editor, Special Projects, at Maclean’s Magazine.

I’ve written for Maclean’s, Toronto Life, Canadian Business, Maisonnueve magazine and Intermission Magazine.

I’ve fact checked for Maisonnueve Magazine, Maclean’s and The Walrus.

I previously served as a research intern at Maisonnueve where I fact check the long form content in their quarterly issues.

I completed my undergrad in Medical Anthropology at the University of Toronto, where I also minored in Spanish and Political Science.

During my undergrad I served on The Varsity‘s Masthead for three years, and as the Creative Director in my final year. While there I created two magazines and a handbook alongside The Varsity‘s Features Editor, Alice Boyle. You can read Passage online here and Flame online here.
